In addition to our regular Montessori curriculum, Northwest Montessori has a series of special events and presentations throughout the school year.  Our presentations vary from an African Safari to a visit from a clown! We encourage parental involvement and invite parents to speak about a variety of topics.

Annual Northwest Montessori Science Fair

Each May, Northwest Montessori hosts its annual Science Fair. Students from the primary and the advanced primary campuses work incredibly hard to put together experiments that represent a wide range of science topics they have learned about throughout the year. This exciting event offers a remarkable chance for our students to share what they know and how their experiments relate to the world around them. Our students present their own science projects to the other NWM campuses, families, friends, and guest scientists. Northwest Montessori’s annual science fair truly is an extraordinary experience for all involved.

Annual Winter Program

Each December, Northwest Montessori puts on its annual Winter Program where students from the primary and advanced primary campuses perform musical numbers celebrating many holidays, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, Diwali, Kwanza, and Chinese New Year. We hold this event in a nearby facility that accommodates all our families and friends! Additionally, our pre-primary campus performs their own Holiday Show for their parents to enjoy here at the school.

Fourth of July Program

Each July, Northwest Montessori holds its annual Fourth of July Program where the students from our primary and advanced primary campuses sing songs celebrating Independence Day! Not only will our students answer 50 questions about the United States of America, they will also recite the U.S. Presidents, States and State Capitols.
